Safety at Vanguard Transport
We target zero workplace accidents. Here is what that means for the drivers, trucks and paperwork that arrive on your site.
Our target is zero workplace accidents
Safety is not a compliance line for us. It is the standard every driver and every dispatch is measured against. We hold ourselves to a target of zero workplace accidents across our fleet, backed by the practices below.
Before a driver arrives on your site
- Every driver is briefed on site-specific hazards and procedures before mobilising.
- Every driver is trained on safe vehicle operation and site conduct.
- Trucks are dispatched with a Vanguard-employed driver, so the person at the wheel is part of our team and follows our standards.
Trucks that are maintained and registered
- Every vehicle in the fleet follows a consistent maintenance and inspection standard.
- Vehicles carry reflective hazard markings and load-rating signage.
- All vehicles are registered and licensed for commercial transport in line with LTA requirements.
Certified, not just promised
Vanguard Transport holds bizSAFE Level 3 (Certificate No. E45083). Level 3 recognises that a company has conducted risk assessments for its workplace in line with the WSH (Risk Management) Regulations, and had that work audited. Read what Level 3 does and does not tell you in our guide to bizSAFE Level 3 when hiring a transport contractor.
We are also a BCA Registered Firm (for public sector works), workhead CR01 Minor Construction Works, Single Grade. See all of our credentials on the certifications page.
Need documents for vendor onboarding?
Principal contractors and site safety officers usually ask for certificates before granting site access. Tell us what your site needs and we will provide it.
